  • PNG Hosts Security Symposium at FUN Show [Video]

The Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) is prioritizing coin dealer security as one of their most important topics of 2024. The PNG hosted a Security symposium at the opening of the 2024 FUN show in Orlando, Florida with a rich list of topics from experts in the field. The full video is available below and is a valuable resource for any coin dealer. This 90-minute presentation features veteran security experts who provide crucial safety advice about how dealers can protect themselves, as well as their inventory at shops, offices, coin shows, and when traveling.   Speakers include Robert K. Wittman, President of Robert Wittman, Inc. Art Security Consulting; former PNG President Jeff Garrett of Mid-American Rare Coin Galleries, who gives advice about cyber security; and Jolene Daniello of Gallagher Insurance Company. They're followed by a question-and-answer session with Doug Davis, Founder of the Numismatic Crime Information Center and a former Texas police chief, and Kenny Mullins, Vice President of Positive Protection, Inc.   This was the first in a series of PNG symposia presented at the annual January FUN Convention. Keep an eye on the PNG website for information about upcoming events and future symposia.
